It feels like it's been forever, but we finally have the living - dining room finished! I've shared the "living" part of the space a few times (where we have this giant gallery wall above the sofa). However, I've never shared the other half - the dining room.
This week we finally got the place looking a bit tidier and I have some gorgeous flowers, so I thought I would share some photos!
One of the main features of the room is our giant leaning mirror (which if you ever want a tutorial on how to anchor to the wall let me know, it's a bit of a mission).
Also next to the window is our massive birds of paradise plant, which seems to be thriving and growing another new leaf currently!
Next to the mirror we have a little vintage onyx table which matches our coffee table. Currently sitting atop it is a lovely bunch of peonies from Arena Flowers, which is just my favourite time of the year so expect more photos. They are in my new funky vase from Anthropologie (affiliate link).
If you would like to try out Arena Flowers, where I got the peonies you can use my referral link here (we both get a wee discount!)
Our table and chairs are French antiques. You can't see it under the tablecloth (affiliate link), but this table is a gorgeous parquet top and it's c.1910 French. On a similar note is a set of French chairs, c.1910-20 all original except from being recovered in a funky yellow mustard.
Then on top is another bouquet - this one is a Cornish themed bouquet from Freddie Flowers. It was my first time ordering from them and I really like the thoughtful design of it.
If you would rather try Freddies Flowers, you can sign up for a free bunch of flowers with my code KATHRYNH129 (I also get a wee discount)
I've just realised this is the first time I've shared the wooden floor in all its glory - which Matty laid by himself. Doesn't it look good? Then on the wall is Hague Blue, Pointing and a big canvas of a picture from our Faroe Islands trip.
So that's it, hope you like it and like what we've done with our dining area!
