Last summer we spent a couple of lovely days up in Aviemore in the Cairngorms, and while we were there we went to one of my favourite lochs! Loch An Eilein in Rothiemurchus is such a great place to visit.
There is a nice short loop around the loch, and it's surrounded by trees so even when it's sunny it's still a nice comfortable walk and not too much for the dogs!
