Buck's Bar Glasgow Review

Shortly before Christmas (and another round of lockdowns), we headed into Glasgow city centre to try fried chicken joint Buck's Bar.

You can find Buck's Bar at 111 W Regent St, so super central if you fancy a great chicken meal!

We had been eyeing Buck's Bar for a while - their instagram is full of filthy chicken meals and almost as filthy chicken puns.

For the two of us we ordered and enjoyed:

Crispy Chicken Popcorn - KFC hasn't got anything on this popcorn

Country Boy Burger - this burger was a massive chicken burger with a good slathering of BBQ sauce

Chicken and Waffles - I am a sucker for chicken and waffles, it's my ideal fried food brinner (breakfast-dinner) combo and this did not disappoint.  I got a proper sized FULL waffle - my pet hate is a tiddly wee waffle - soaked in maple syrup and topped with buttermilk chicken.  This was really delicious and it's making me hungry writing about it now!

One thing I would warn you about is the portion sizes - they are massive!  The chicken in the burger was huuuuge, and I couldn't finish about quarter of my chicken waffles. But the good thing is - there are doggy bags!  And the food was almost as good after we heated it up in the oven later!

Have you tried Buck's Bar?  What did you think of it?
