This is turning into a little bit of a work centred week for Liquid Grain isn't it? First I do a post on Skype Interview Tips (here) and now I'm talking about Work Trousers!
Soon I'll do a post on phone interviews as well!
Since I've started working a real life job (well internship) where I have to be in an office from 9 until 5.15 every day I've had to get an office friendly wardrobe.
And now I have to declare I have found the best place to buy work trousers! And it is.....
UNIQLO!
Uniqlo work trousers are amazing! And so so cheap!
I am afraid I don't know how well I'll be able to link to the actual trousers because Uniqlo stock seems to change every five seconds but I will try my best!
So I have 2 pairs of work trousers from Uniqlo, as you can see. I love them both so much- they are so comfortable with elasticated waists and were both under £20!
I really like the cropped length of both of these trousers because I am super tall (almost 6' tall) so I struggle getting long enough trousers. Plus it's uber fashionable to show a little ankle everywhere and especially in France!
The black pair (I can't find it anywhere on the website) is a smart tracksuit / harem-ish style but made of black crepe material. They are super comfy with elastic at the sides of the waist and a loose shape on the hips and leg. Although it's really comfy I like the elastic around the bottom of the leg to give it a nice shape! I think these were around the £15 mark.
I managed to find the grey pair online (here), they are in the sale now for £14.90, but they were £19.90 when I got them. This is more of a traditional style of work trousers with the crease down the front. But it still has a cheeky elasticated waist!
I hope you like these pictures I took, they sort of show up what I wear to work when it's kinda cold outside. Although I sometimes wear a shirt as well under them!
These outfits also feature:
Jack Wills white cable knit jumper - here in cotton (pink, grey, navy), here in cashmere (red, navy, grey), my one is lambswool but not online in the Spring collection.
Ralph Lauren cable knit jumper - on sale here
Black pumps from M&S - here
Floral scarf from M&S - here
Silk scarf from a vintage shop - similar here, different colours / styles here here here here
