The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner is Stephanie Meyer's standalone novella in the Twilight universe. It picks up from when the memorable innocent Bree Tanner is turned into a vampire to be part of Victoria's army until her second and true death.
This is an easy read and only suitable and appealing for Twilight fans, but I liked it! It was short, snappy and gave some fun vampire insights which were different and contrasting to the golden-eyed Cullens. There is brutality and Bree trying to cope with the unwanted and unexpected change.
It's a short book so the pace is good, it moves on well. It was totally refreshing to read and quite in contrast to the Twilight. If you're a Twilight fan I would recommend it!
