Modern Art Oxford is a kind of weird and "out-there" art museum in the centre of Oxford, but I suppose that is what you expect from modern art museums.
You never know what you are going to get when you visit, and if you will even "get" it. However, I would say it's definitely worth a visit for a number of reasons.
Firstly, it's free - which can't be said for a lot of things in central Oxford.
Secondly, it is quite fun to look around.
And finally - it's close proximity to Westgate and other central amenities make it an easy attraction away from shopping and the usual high street shops.
Additionally, if you have kids there is usually some fun interactive area downstairs!
