Art Deco Engagement Ring

This is a bit of a different post for me, but since I shared our engagement post on instagram I have been getting lots of lovely compliments and questions on my ring.  

So I thought I would pop some information on here, if it is of any interest to you.  And also, continue to add some ring pictures to this post if I am out and about and snap it! 

In terms of the basics, as many have spotted it's an antique ring. I love antiques, especially the styles from art deco and art nouveau periods.  Therefore, I love the fact that my ring is art deco from the 1930s.

The detailing around the old cut diamonds is gorgeous, there is so much workmanship and skill around it.  The setting is styled to allow light in and around the diamonds to make it sparkle even more and take advantage of all the facets in the stone.
