In the Autumn Matty and I climbed Snowdon on the Miners Track and I've been getting some questions on Instagram about the kit I wore and had in my pack.
I must admit, when it comes to hiking I am very much the passenger not the driver. Matty is in the Mountain Rescue, so he does all the life preservation kit. My kit is just what I need for me on a very popular and safe hike.
So with me I'm wearing:
- Asolo boots
- My favourite socks are Bridgedale, particularly these ones which are thick on the bottom but still nice and thin up the leg.
- Generic Craghopper trousers
- Baselayer tee
- This fantastic midlayer
- Another great midlayer, I got in the sale so it's long gone but similar here
- My Patagonia down which I recently reviewed here
My rucksack is from Montane - similar here - and inside it I also had:
- This shell in case it rained - it didn't!
- This buff
- Hetty's equafleece
- Gloves
- Spare socks!
