As you might have seen on instagram recently, to celebrate National Burger Day, Matty and I went to Kilnford Farm Shop for their Burger Night.
Kilnford is one of our local farm shops and they aren't usually open in the evenings, but about once a week there is one late opening and it has a theme!
The themes vary from Curry Nights to Burger Nights, and obviously this was a burger night!
It was a really good night, with a nice family friendly atmosphere and super quick service. The food was also great, Matty went for the pulled pork burger - which was pulled pork AND a beef burger. Whereas I went for the Mac'n'Cheese burger - which was a burger topped off with macaroni and cripsy onions.
Both were good options and came with delicious thin chips, we had no complaints!
Even better, it's a very affordable night out - our meal came to just over £20! If you have kiddies, they eat for free with an adult meal. As an added bonus, we also got a 20% off voucher for full price items in the farm shop. Farm shops may seem expensive, but if you are selective in what you shop (i.e. focus on the quality meats), it can actually end up cheaper than the supermarket and much better!
Be aware Kilnford can get quite busy so I would recommend getting there sooner rather than later. The menus are served from 5 to 7.45.
There are also some extraordinary looking deserts - specialist sundaes and milkshakes, but unless you are sharing between 3+ people I would give them a miss, they're big!
