When we visited Madeira last year, we spent half the trip on the North Coast of the island. One of the highlights was Porto Moniz, which has amazing tidal pools. I would have loved to have explored and enjoy the tidal pools but it was pretty wild - as you can see from these photos!
Instead we enjoyed the view of the coastline, the volcanic rocks and the wild waves. Aren't they impressive?!
