Tiumpan Head Lighthouse, Isle of Lewis

Tiumpan Head Lighthouse is the most underrated lighthouse on the Isle of Lewis & Harris.  That's not to say that it's bad, it's just not quite as impressive as the others!

However, I still liked it.  It may not be super exciting but I liked it - the white buildings were nice and crisp against the blue sky.  My favourite thing was the white cottontails in the grass - there was so many.  I don't know how all the cottontails survived in all the wind!

Also, Tiumpan Head is just 20 minutes from Stornoway.  So I would recommend heading to the lighthouse after a day in Stornoway and if you can make it at golden hour for sunset I'm sure it would be a smasher!
