One of the perks of living in Oxfordshire is that we have the Cotswolds on our backdoor and the Cotswolds are ridiculously pretty and quaint. There are a couple of stand-out spots and villages and over the next few months I want to try and share some more.
A couple of weeks ago we decided to take a day off work and do some exploring and headed to Bibury. Bibury has the reputation of having the prettiest street in the UK and it didn't disappoint - making it a perfect instagram spot.
The pretty street in question is Arlington Row and by gosh it was pretty! It was also super easy to find - just put it in your satnav.
However, what was tricky was parking. We visited on a Tuesday of all days, not in the school holidays, and it was absolutely packed! There was an abundance of tour buses which had descended on the teeny village - which meant no parking and a tonne of folk. The tourists were also not the most discreet or respectful, with some people even tramping through gardens and the likes.
However, we managed to get a spot as we weren't in any rush and we wandered around the village. We also waited for some quiet times to snap some photos.
