Floral fields and lavender fields in particular, have become a bit of a blogger/instagram cliche this summer. However, I can't really complain because I've got to admit that this is a blogger trend I can get behind.
Aesthetically I like being outside and flowers are gorgeous (although I must admit some blogger pics can be overstaged).
Additionally, fields like the one I visited (Mayfield Lavender) are a great way to support British farmers and their efforts in diversification. With the ongoing agricultural economic situation (which won't be helped with Brexit), it's great to see Farms branching out in different ways.
What do you think of the flower field trend?
P.S. I would encourage anyone to visit organised / commercial fields or private ones legally, know your local laws and customs and be polite and conscientious!
