El Hôtel Dar Terrae - AirBnB Review in Chefcaouen
Following on from my review of the hotel in Fes, I thought I should also review our hotel in the Blue City of Chefcaouen which we booked through AirBnB.
If you've never used AirBnB and want to sign up, you can get £25 for free (I get £15 credit) here! It's really easy to use, book and the communication from the host Cosimo was spot on!
We really liked staying here, although not super fancy it was spot on for what we needed. It was very good value - at about £35/night and a very central location.
The rooms itself were quite small (we were in Dar Terrae 2) but they were clean and comfortable. However it doesn't have air conditioning, so be aware when travelling in summer!
The BnB doesn't offer any other meal except from breakfast, but it is a quick 5 minute walk to the main square. The breakfasts themselves are good, standard for Morocco, however service can be quite slow (also not uncommon in Morocco) so if you want the best photos in the Blue City (which I know you do), you will want to get up and take photos at 7am and then come in for breakfast after!
Wifi is pretty good inside the hotel and Cosimo also runs a cute shop downstairs!
