This recipe isn't super fancy or culinary-ish but it is super tasty and amazingly easy!
First take some ready made, pre-rolled puff pastry and roll it out flat ready for your filling.
You can really go wild with your filling choices, but my go-to filling is:
- venison sausage meat (usually from Millbank venison)
- grated carrots
- browned onions
- seasoning
Simply put the filling on to the pastry on strips, cut the pastry where needed. Then fold it over, sealing them shut with a fork.
And there you have it, wash with egg and throw it in the oven at 200' until it is a lovely golden colour and then enjoy it!
