Look at this gorgeous bag in the gorgeous golden hour light! It really is a killer combo.
Scaramanga (website here) is one of the quirky shops you have to check out if you are in the Fife region! Founded in 2006 Scaramanga is a relatively young (but very successful) Scottish company I'm really excited to work with. As well as their shop in St Andrews, there is another in Edinburgh and two massive warehouses full of stock in Fife.
The St Andrews shop is focussed on leather goods but as you can see on their website there is a very well curated Homewares section featuring chests, mirror and other vintage and upcycled goodies!
Scaramanga were kind enough to give me the Leather Shopper Tote Bag (here) to style- and I had great fun with it!
Scaramanga bags are amazing quality, the semi-vegetable tanned leather is ridiculously tough wearing and sturdy. It also has a really great vintage look about it which I know will only get better with age.
In terms of size, the Shopper Tote is a big one! It will definitely fit all of life's essentials (and more). I can see myself using it for university when it starts again in September as it can hold so much- a laptop and a lever arch file will fit in no bother. There's also a little pocket in the inside which I have been using to hold my phone and keys separately.
Currently, I have mostly been using this bag as a handbag to carry around all of my stuff and the related puppy paraphernalia that needs carted around! I never knew there would be quite so much- you people who look after children (parents, grandparents, etc.) are amazing, children come with even more accessories!
We started shooting this look in our field with Hetty but decided to walk into the woods to catch some pretty Golden Hour light. The light looked really nice filtering through the trees (although I had to walk through some serious mud). On another bag related note- on our walk the Scaramanga Tote fully handled Matty's full frame camera, battery pack and two lenses being added to what was already in the bag!
In addition to the lovely Scaramanga Tote I am also wearing a shirt dress from Monsoon from last year.
Stay tuned to Liquid Grain for my detailed review on the Scaramanga bag (including another lookbook) and a look around the Scaramanga St Andrews store, but in the meantime I have a little FREEBIE for you!
To receive a FREE mini leather journal then go into the St Andrews Scaramanga store and say "Liquid Grain". This offer is valid until 31 August 2015, I hope you like it!
