Now that it's Thursday it's time to start thinking about the weekend. Sometimes we work so hard during the week we don't quite know how to get the most out of those two scared days when we don't have to be getting up and doing the daily commute.
I think we've all been guilty of being so excited for the weekend but then sleeping away half of it.
Here are my 6 best tips to get the most out of your weekend:
Do Housework and Errands on a Week Night
I know this is probably the last thing you want to do after a day of work but this is a real way to clear space on the weekend. Take some time on a Tuesday or Wednesday and clean the bathroom or do your laundry. That way when it gets to the weekend you don't have to think about the boring stuff.
Have a Plan
Okay, you don't have to micro manage every minute of the weekend but it really makes the difference to your weekend if you know what you're going to do. You don't have to spend that awkward time trying to figure out what you are going to do today.
It's such a good feeling to achieve something over the weekend. That way when you get to Monday you feel like you've really made the best of the weekend and you can get on with the week with a positive feeling of accomplishment.
Pick Your Monday Outfit Out
Take a minute on Sunday evening and pick out what you are going to wear on Monday. Set it out and pick your shoes out and you'll be ready to hit Monday, and hit it hard!
Check Out Local Events
You should check out what's going on in your area and try to check some of the events out. It's good to do something a little different and this is a good way to mix things up.
Although this might seem like I am defeating the purpose of this blog post - you can't stress out about making the most of your weekend, because then you won't. Don't think about it, just enjoy yourself!
